A violent brawl occurred outside a coffee shop on 21 South Bridge Road around 6:30am on Friday (28 Feb 2025).
One man suffered head injuries after being struck with a wine glass during what witnesses described as a drunken fight.

Photos from Shin Min Daily News readers showed at least four police cars and ambulances at the location.

Police cordoned off the coffee shop and conducted investigations at the scene, where a blue plastic chair was found toppled on the ground.
A coffee shop employee who arrived at 7am told reporters the entire premises had been blocked by police. Medical staff were treating a man with head injuries at that time.
The employee said that the police had blocked the sidewalk outside the coffee shop until around 8am.
History of Disturbances and Arrest Details
Another staff member noted that while no store items were damaged, several chairs were knocked over.
The staff added that there are often drunk people causing trouble on the street on South Bridge Road.
This is not the first time the police have been called to the scene, the staff added.
Blood was visible next to and around trash cans in the aisle outside the coffee shop, reported Shin Min Daily News.
Police confirmed receiving an emergency call about the incident. A spokesperson stated that a 35-year-old man was transported to the hospital while conscious and is being investigated for intentionally causing injury and using criminal force.

Authorities later arrested a 31-year-old man for Rash Act Causing Hurt. The investigation remains ongoing.
