No Winter in 2nd Half of October As Temperature Can be Up to 35°C With Fewer Rains

Weather forecast is like your wife’s temper: it can be good in the morning and the entire world changes in the late morning.

According to some analysis (which you can read here). It’s going to be rather rainy for the rest of 2020, so you’d have thought that you’d be drenched in rain for the next two weeks, eh?

Well, no.

Throw away your umbrella and prepare your sleeveless clothes because instead of winter, you’d be seeing many roasted pork on the streets in the next two weeks.

No Winter in 2nd Half of October As Temperature Can be Up to 35 °C With Fewer Rains

According to the latest fortnightly weather forecast, it’s going to be warm and dry for the next two weeks.

However, localised short-duration moderate to heavy thundery showers can still be expected on some days over parts of the island between the late morning and afternoon. In addition, Sumatra squalls are forecast to bring thundery showers and gusty winds on some days between the predawn hours and morning.

The daily temperature is forecast to range between 25°C and 34°C, and get this: the daily maximum temperature could reach close to 35°C on a few days, particularly when there are few clouds in the sky.

Prior to that, there were just indications that La Nina might be coming.

So, what does that mean?

Basically, it’s a phenomenon (which doesn’t happen often) whereby  there would be more rain in the region, and it’s caused by the temperature of the sea. You can read more about it here.

So why is it getting warmer in the next two weeks then?
