If you thought choping a coffee shop table with a packet of tissue was bad…
Just wait till you see this.
On 25 November 2018, a video was uploaded to Facebook page ROADS.sg. And if you’re familiar with its uploaded content, you would know that videos generally tend to be kinda…

Questionable.
And indeed, this time was no different. In the video, a woman driver can be seen trying to chope a parking lot…
With her own body.
Yes, my dear ladies and gentlemen. The local choping culture is, for lack of a better phrase…
Getting pretty physical.
What happened?
As mentioned, the video in question was uploaded on 25 Nov, and to Facebook page ROADS.sg. The video’s filmed from the car driver’s perspective.
In the video, the car driver appears to be waiting to enter a soon-to-be vacant parking lot when a woman driver left her vehicle to physically ‘chope’ it.
Having gotten out of the Mercedes Benz sports utility vehicle she was driving, she can be seen adorning her green hoodie and chatting with the car that was exiting the lot, almost as if she was claiming it.

Thereafter, she so very surreptitiously moved to block our dear car driver over here, and seemingly feigned a look of surprise when she was honked at. She then asked whether the car driver was parking in that spot.
“YAH” the driver shouts, evidently irritated. And at this point, the intercepter flashes a disgruntled expression, before flipping out a single D.
But let me narrate no longer, for here’s the video itself for your kind perusal.
Self entitled lady shows rude gesture
[Audio available]“This car SLK8699G in question appeared abruptly on the left of the screen. Then the driver alighted and asked the parked car driver if he was leaving the lot? Pretending not to see my car that was waiting with signal lights blinking. After honking her still got a middle finger pointed at me twice by her."Credit: DCAdmin: It is simply not right for drivers to use passengers to 'chope' or reserve car parking lots. It is not good etiquette and not correct to reserve lots by standing and blocking cars from parking. The correct way is for drivers to signal intentions and ease in slowly after the last car leaves the lot. Always a good idea to block the lot with your car to make known your full intentions.

Response
As it is, the video proved to be a viral hit, amassing over 300K views and a whopping 6.1K shares over the span of a mere four days.
Additionally, over 1K comments were also posted, though judging from the page’s pinned post…
It seems that response isn’t exactly positive in a sense. But as you would expect from True Blue Singaporeans…
That hasn’t really affected their game.

But to be fair, some were quite ‘civil’ about it.
And humour was rather prevalent too.
Class
Incidentally, resident journalist site Mothership has speculated that the car model in question is actually a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class.
Which is kind of an ironic thing, seeing how the driver of it…
Doesn’t seem to be of the same class as her car.
Or maybe she should be driving this:

It’s an S-Class.
