23-Year-Old Woman Found Dead at Hougang Avenue 8 HDB Block

A 23-year-old woman died after falling from a Housing Development Board (HDB) block in Hougang on 13 Nov 2025.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) received an alert at 11:30am about a fall from height at 649 Hougang Avenue 8.

Woman Pronounced Dead at Scene After Fall from Hougang HDB Flat

The woman was discovered lying motionless at the foot of the block. A paramedic from the Singapore Civil Defence Force pronounced her dead at the scene.

A photo of the incident was shared on a Facebook group for domestic workers. The post claimed that the woman was a domestic worker from Myanmar, though this has not been officially confirmed.

Police Do Not Suspect Foul Play in Hougang Death

Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.

Police investigations are ongoing.
