Woman Jumped Onto Train Tracks During Argument With BF as a ‘Dare’

Couples argue all the time.

Sometimes, you’ll kiss, make up and make babies. But at other times, you’ll do something drastic to get what you want.

Like this silly girl we’re going to talk about.

Girlfriend Jumps Onto Train Tracks During Argument

On 12 Nov at about 9.20 pm, a couple was arguing at Nanjing South Railway Station in China.

Wanting to win the argument, the woman, surnamed Wang, decided to threatened her boyfriend with her life.

Kind of like, if you dump me, I’ll jump off the building.

Except, she did it for rail (real). She jumped onto the railway tracks.

But what she didn’t expect to see, though, when she jumped, was an oncoming train.

A high-speed train was pulling into the station when she jumped.

Luckily for her, she was pulled off the tracks in time

Thankfully, she was pulled off the tracks in time and the train came to an immediate stop.

“Someone pulled me up right after I jumped. I turned back and saw the train passing by my feet – I was so scared and my mind went blank.”

When the police arrived, Wang told them that she did it as a “joke” and didn’t really want to die.

The police told her that this incident could’ve affected her social credit score if it was implemented and she was let off with a 200 yuan (~S$40) fine.

To be honest, that’s a slap on the wrist compared to what she did.

The high-speed train going to Xuzhou was delayed as a result and her boyfriend might have just lost 10 years off his life.

You can watch the video below:

Meanwhile, netizens busy flaming her stupidity:

  • “I would break up with her immediately if I was her boyfriend.”
  • “She should jump off the building to see if her boyfriend can pull her up in time.”
  • “She should be sentenced to three or five years in prison, we’ll see if it’s a joke then.”

What would you do if she was your girlfriend?

China’s Social Credit System

The whole world thinks that China people are the most uncouth and rude individuals across the world.

Of course, that’s a broad stereotype but the Chinese government’s determined to change how their people behave.

It’s started with Chinese embassies around the world distributing booklets telling their people how to behave in another country.

And now, China’s looking to implement a social credit system that’s similar to the Nosedive episode of Black Mirror:

A social credit system.

If you have a bad credit rating in China (in the future, that is), you might not be able to get a good job, get into university or banned from leaving the country.

If, on the other hand, you have a good rating, your dating profile will get a boost on dating sites, better interest rates for banks and even your internet speed might be affected.
