45Y/O Woman Pronounced Dead at Scene After Motorcycle Collides with Two Cars Near Woodlands Exit

A 45-year-old woman died in a traffic accident near Woodlands Checkpoint on 14 June 2025. The incident happened in the evening along BKE towards Woodlands Checkpoint after the Woodlands Avenue 3 exit.

Vehicles Involved and Scene Details

The accident involved a motorcycle and two cars. The motorcycle was found lying on its side. Two cars, one black and one white, were at the scene. The white car’s bumper was visibly damaged.

Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedics responded to the scene. One person was seen lying in the middle lane while two officers stood beside a body covered by a white sheet.

SCDF said they were alerted to the accident and conveyed one person to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

Police confirmed that a 37-year-old male motorcyclist was taken conscious to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. His 45-year-old female pillion rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Aftermath and Ongoing Investigation

A video of the aftermath circulated on Facebook, showing the damaged vehicles and emergency personnel at work.

Earlier on the same day, a separate accident occurred involving a 27-year-old motorcyclist and a car on the BKE near Woodlands Checkpoint, reported The Straits Times.

The motorcyclist was taken conscious to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

The area near Woodlands Checkpoint has seen several recent accidents.

On 26 May 2025, two male motorcyclists in their twenties were injured in another accident on the BKE. On 24 May 2025, four people were hospitalised after a car collided with a bus at the checkpoint.

Police have not released further details on the cause of the latest accident.
