I‘m sure most, if not all of us, know how much it really sucks to be in the service industry. If there’s any singular phrase that holds true in the industry, it’ll be this: The customer is always right. That’s fact number one. Fact number two: service crews usually have a supervisor that not only supervises them but also to assist when their intervention is necessary.
In the following video which was posted online by All Singapore Stuff and garnered over 61k views and 606 shares, you’ll see one of these facts demolished.

Woman Scolded SingPost Employee, Holds Up the Queue
A woman in white accused a SingPost employee of calling her “crazy” and “long-winded”. She started pointing at the staff and calling her a coward for not owning up to her mistake.
Some disgruntled people in the queue attempted to stop her by calling out to her. “Excuse me” and “Oi” were heard in the video. Unfortunately, the lady ignored them and continued her tirade against the employee.
No more help for the employee
And that’s it. Other than calling out, no one else stepped forward. The employee herself attempted to calm the angry customer down, even going as far as saying she’ll call the police. Of course, we’re not exactly experts on how SingPost works but it’s pretty baffling to see that the employee herself has to resolve the issue.
Usually, a manager or supervisor would have come along to separate the two and attempt to defuse angry customers’ anger. But not this time. The employee had to calm the lady down and get her to proceed with what she intended to do in the first place.
Of course, it must be noted that we did not see the beginning of the conflict so we do not know if the customer was provoked into lashing out.
