Fight at Woodlands Void Deck Involving Man with Weapon & Multiple People Shouting & Unmasked Was Taken 2 Months Ago

Recently, a 26-second video clip featuring multiple guys fighting and quarrelling on a void deck went viral on Facebook.

Video Captured 26 Seconds of the Fight

In the video, the man in black with a gold chain necklace around his neck was seen rushing towards a man in grey who then fell down.

He seemed to be wielding something small in his hand, likely a weapon of some sort, considering how the others seem to avoid him when he pointed the “weapon” at them.

The man in grey then got up and tried to retaliate by kicking the guy with the weapon…

… not before the same man swung his weapon at a tall man in red but missed.

As the camera panned to the left, a man in floral prints was seen gesticulating angrily at another man in black who seemed to be trying to intervene and stop the fight as the video abruptly ended its 26-second run.

There were many “spectators” around, both male and female, with many of them shouting at the fighters.

Though, it is hard to discern whether if they were shouting at the men to stop the fight or to egg them on.

Many people in the video were seen not wearing masks too, and for those few that do, some of them weren’t even wearing them properly.

The Fight Occurred in Woodlands and The Video Was Taken Two Months Ago

As the saying goes, nothing is truly gone from the internet…

… or evidently from social media as well!

The video was apparently captured two months ago back in May and was just recently re-uploaded.

To put it simply, the video you saw was not a recent fight.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) confirmed this, along with the fact that the fight occurred at Woodlands, in a statement issued in response to an inquiry from Mothership.

In the statement, the SPF pointed out that the police were called to break up a fight at Block 569A on Champions Way on 11 May 2021 at 8:47pm.

The officers apprehended three men in total, a 42-year-old and a 30-year-old for fighting in public, and a 33-year-old for intentional harassment, voluntarily causing hurt, and criminal force.

The police added that no ambulance was needed as no one was injured in the fray.
