The Workers’ Party (WP) unveiled four more potential candidates on Friday (18 April 2025) for Singapore’s upcoming General Election, bringing their total of new faces to eight ahead of the May polls.
The latest batch includes Dr Ong Lue Ping, a senior principal clinical psychologist at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), who previously served as the institution’s director of allied health from 2022 to 2024.
Party secretary-general Pritam Singh and chair Sylvia Lim presented the new candidates at the WP headquarters, just a day after releasing their 122-page manifesto and introducing their first group of potential candidates.
