Yes, the Angel Supermart in Ang Mo Kio accidentally stole more than $1,370 from a customer.
However, their sister outlet in Yishun was stolen from not once, not twice but three times.
Yishun Minimart’s CCTV Shows How a Man Stole Bread & Beer Without Batting an Eye
On 21 June 2020, Angel Supermart uploaded a seemingly frustrated post on their Facebook page.
Angel Supermart said that a “regular thief” has stolen from their Yishun outlet for the third time in a row.
Along with the post, they’ve also uploaded CCTV footage and images to back up their word.
In their first video upload, it showed a young man wearing white and in a face mask, walking past the shop
Straight to the ice cream freezer where he seemingly helped himself to an ice cream or two
Strike One.
There was also a still image of him stuffing a can of beer into his pocket

Next, we have allegedly the same person, wearing black this time.
He walked towards the bread shelves and wanted to slip a bag of bread into his bag but he stopped after noticing what seems like an employee of the store arranging items behind him.
He fiddled around awkwardly for a bit and pretended to count through the money in his pocket.
When she left, he tried for a second attempt but was interrupted again, this time by passers-by.
Then, he steeled his nerves and went for the killing blow.

Angel Supermart said that they’ve lodged a police report against the man and is offering a reward to anyone who has information that will lead to the capture of this man.
