If you’re like BuffLord95, you’d have a love-hate relationship with zombie movies.
On one hand, you’re scared of the jumpscares. On the other hand, you’re triggered at how stupid some characters are.
“Just run lah! Look so long for what!?”
“Shoot the head lah! Shoot the leg for what leh!? Might as well do a warning shot than on these idiots!”
“Wah lao, the zombie’s so loud and he can’t hear him? STUPID LEH I CAN DO BETTER!”
Well, now’s the chance for you to walk the talk because there’s going to be a zombie survival game with Nerf game coming.
And according to videos we’ve seen, it’ll look very legit.
Zombie Survival Game With Nerf Game Happening On 26 October 2019
Next month, you’ll have a chance to be either a Bread Pig in World War Z or a mindless zombie right here in Singapore.
Or, to be more specific, in the Singapore Sports Hub.
The gameplay is pretty much self-explanatory: you start off as a human with a blaster (i.e. Nerf gun) to survive for three hours. If you’re bitten, you’ll become a zombie and therefore “change sides”.
If you’re poor like me, then you can start off as a zombie, which is $20 cheaper.
There will be two sessions: the day session which costs $60 as a human and then zombie, or $40 as a zombie. The night session costs $65 as a human and then zombie, or $45 as a zombie.
Now, if you think this is merely another event organised by someone whose CCA in university was Event Management, you’re wrong.
It’s actually a bigly event in Australia, and they’ve been running it since 2012. Suffice to say, it’s so successful that the zombies have swum over to Singapore because we Singaporeans got too much money to spend why not.
More information can be found here.
But if you feel that this article feels familiar, here’s why: because it is.
We’ve written about it last month, and this is not a reminder that zombies are coming in October.
Instead, this is about zombies that are already in Singapore.
Publicity Stunt That Could Lead To People Calling The Police
Imagine you’re in a hawker centre, queuing up for your favourite bak chor mee.
And you see this.
What do you do?
Ignore them like those aunties or uncles, while carrying a tissue box because they might dirty your food?
Or look at them for hours like this lady?
As part of their publicity, these zombies have been spotted in various parts of Singapore, doing what tourists would have done: queuing up for BCM, taking selfies and strolling along Orchard Road while others DGAF about them.
You see, even the ice-cream uncle gave them the what-the-f***-are-you-doing look.
I’m 101% sure we’re not ready for a zombie apocalypse.
It’s unknown whether they’re still on the streets, but if you see them, do remember to take a wefie with them.
If not, just be one yourself next month.
Over in TikTok, there’s a drama involving property agents that’s caused by us. Here’s what happened:
