费玉清’s Version of 小幸运 is Creepily Good

Do you know 费玉清? He was a Taiwanese singer-songwriter who started his career back in the 1970s together with his brother, 張菲.

During the course of his career, he has captured the hearts of many young girls with his velvet singing voice and his looks. Who knows, you mum might have gone crazy over him once.

费玉清 was the king of the oldies but did you know he’s amazing at modern mandopop as well? Jay Chou collaborated with him on the song 千里之外 which was a huge hit. Well, now, we can add another new song to his repertoire.

When he sang the first line, you can feel goosebumps rising almost immediately. Even if you know of him as someone who sings oldies, you can’t help but feel that he has made the song his. And no, it doesn’t sound old at all.
