It’s always nice to escape reality for a short period of time and bask in the gorgeous setting of a new country. I, personally, love to travel. To see different parts of the world, embrace their culture and get a whole new perspective on things.

Travelling is not just about the fun; it’s also about broadening your horizon and realizing how much the world has to offer. So if you find yourself nodding your head to most of the points below, well, you are definitely a travel addict!

You signed up for almost, if not all, the airline newsletters
Budget airlines or not, you always have countless incoming emails from different airlines. You’re always ready to drop everything and fly off whenever a great deal presents itself.

That said, you know exactly when to book a ticket.
For example, Scoot’s Morning Glory that takes place only on Tuesday mornings. Or making sure to buy your air tickets eight weeks in advance for the best rates.

Your Instagram feed is mostly filled with travel photographers.
Unlike most people whose feeds are filled with faces of their friends or food, your feed is basically a beautiful compilation of gorgeous sunsets, mountains and waterfalls.

You spend hours surfing the net.
You find yourself constantly browsing through different travel blogs and websites, reading through what people have to say about certain places, and jotting down information that interest you. And before you know it, 6 hours have passed and it’s already night-time.

You hold 5 different part-time jobs for the sole purpose of wanderlust.
Let’s be real, travelling is expensive and unless you’re a billionaire, you need some sort of income to support this very expensive hobby of yours. While most people work to spend on themselves, you work to save up money and get the heck out of here.

Apps such as Airbnb are accessible on your phone with just one click.
Well you know… because the things you source for may most probably come in useful real soon.

Most of time, the only topic that gets you all revved up is travelling.
You’re fine talking about clothes, games, studies and all that nonsense. But the moment the word ‘travelling’ comes up, your face lights up and you find yourself connecting with the person on a much deeper level.

You’re an expert at packing
Either that or you live out of your bag because you’re always ready to hop onto a plane whenever possible. Yes, you live that way in Singapore.

You can barely imagine staying in the same country for a year
You cringe even thinking about that. No, just no.

You are constantly dreaming of your next destination.
Nothing makes you happier than embarking on your next fun-filled adventure. Whether it’s sky-diving or planting strawberries on a farm, you’re always open to trying out new things. All you want is to spend your life seeing new places, and you wish you could get paid to travel.
