Traveling soon? Here are 20 damn things we always forget to bring. All these little things we forget make us curse at ourselves for being so forgetful and ruining the trip for us, at least a little bit. Are you travelling, or planning to travel soon? If you’re packing, check against this list and see if you’ve forgotten anything!

Charger
I don’t know for you, but this Goody Feed writer has forgotten to bring the damn charger from home frequently. Probably because this writer was too engrossed in checking her phone, that she realized that her phone need to be charged.

Pen
Sometimes, pens are all you need to indicate things on a map when you’re overseas. And while you say it’s easy to just get one from any shop, what if the area you’re in does not have any pens? Uh oh!

Enough socks
When all types of shoes you bring are sports shoes, or canvas shoes, you somehow will underestimate the number of socks you’d need. And putting your clean feet into a sticky pair of socks is gross.

Adapter
This is one thing you definitely wouldn’t want to forget when travelling overseas. Adapters are different in different countries and it can be a bitch trying to get one.

Extra spectacles
This writer also saw a friend who knocked her spectacles off a cruise ship. You are warned

Enough underwear
Sometimes, that one packet of 5 disposable underwear is simply not enough! You wouldn’t want to wear it until it dissolves on you, right?

Comfort food
If you’re travelling to places in which their food is not as appetizing, comfort food might just save you from hunger.

Medication
We always assume that conditions overseas will be good, but sometimes, traveling and the jet lag might harm our immune system!

Enough warm clothes
It’s often hard to gauge the temperatures in the winter season, but one can never pack enough warm clothes. Remember Taiwan? People who went recently were surprised by the sudden temperature drop.

Watch
If somehow your watch doesn’t match the ensemble you are wearing to the airport, you forget about it, and when you need it in foreign land you realize you left it at home.

Thermometer
A thermometer is handy to check if you need to go to the hospital.

Phone casing
If you’re going on a hiking trip, best to encase your phone in a sturdy casing. Just in case, y’know.

Hair accessories
For girls, somedays, we like our hair up. Make sure you bring that hair band!

Plastic bags
Plastic bags are so convenient for storing things. It’s better to be kiasu and bring more.

Spare camera memory card
Well, one can never take enough photos on a trip!

Hat
Just in case it gets too sunny out. This isn’t that important because you can always get one overseas. Of course, be prepared to be chopped like a carrot. You’re a tourist now. Do the math.

Enough sleeping wear
Sometimes, you solution is to wear next day’s clothes to sleep, yuck.

Heat pack
Heat packs are cheap packets of warmth that we often neglect to keep in stock.

Sunblock
Especially important in winter countries as the sun reflects off the snow! You might not feel the heat, but just apply sufficient sunblock or you’d regret it.
