Well, well, well. What do we have here? Remember the New Year Draw we were just talking about just a week back?

Yeah, I remember how some of you guys were complaining that the prize pool is actually quite “small”.

$5 million is considered small? Geez, I don’t actually buy enough TOTO and 4D to know such things. I tend to prefer…more “informed” forms of gambling. *Cough* Crypto *Cough*

Anyway, I’ve got great news for all you TOTO fanatics out there! Singapore Pools must’ve heard your pleas, coz’ the prize pool is getting stuffed as we speak!

HOLY. SHIT.

I have no idea if this is considered a lot for a TOTO draw, but I’m now more tempted than ever to buy a few tickets for myself!

Other than the prize money, nothing much has changed! The draw will still take place on 5 Jan, at 9.30 pm!

Oh and, just so you know, this is a cascade draw. According to the website of Singapore Pools, here’s the definition of a cascade draw:

“A cascade draw takes place after three consecutive draws without a Group 1 Prize winner.

The Jackpot does not snowball beyond the fourth consecutive draw. If there is no Group 1 Prize winner at the end of four consecutive draws, the final jackpot amount (38% of the fourth draw’s prize pool plus snowballed amount from the three preceding draws) cascades, i.e. it will be paid to the next prize group with winner(s) and shared equally.”

TL;DR: If nobody wins the group 1 prize this time around, a portion of said prize money would be paid to the next prize group and shared equally.

…I actually had to google this since I had no idea what a cascade draw is. But wow, imagine winning $9.7 million all for yourself! If that’s not motivation for you to buy a couple of tickets, I have no idea what is!

Since you’re here, why not watch a video about a guy who lodged a Police report here in Singapore because he was friendzoned? Seriously. Here, watch it and do remember to share it (and also subscribe to Goody Feed YouTube channel)!
