Woman Who is Undergoing Surgery So Bored, She Played with Her Phone Coz Why Not?

I mean, what’s new, right? And honestly, you can’t get any more savage than bringing your phone into the operating theater while doing surgery. Who knows, you might even get to Instagram Live your very own pregnancy in the future. 

A Chinese patient, known as Zhu, was allowed to bring her mobile phone into the operating theatre because she was feeling anxious before the surgery. The elderly hospital patient in Eastern China was using her phone while undergoing an operation on her legs. She was seen scrolling through her friend’s WeChat and even took photos of the doctors and nurses during her operation.

The operation only needed local anaesthesia so Zhu was conscious the whole time, the doctor said. The patient even managed to walk out the hospital on her own after the surgery and even left the hospital on the same day. 

I mean, it can’t get even more savage than this.

However, many concerns have been raised regarding mobile phone and radiation, which can also have a negative impact on one’s health. Many have said that these cell-phone radiation can lead to cancer, and even tumours in the brain.

This makes it even more life-threatening to use cell phones in an operating theater with an open wound and all the medical machines lying around, isn’t it? 

But in any case, we are glad that Zhu made it out of the operation safely. Good job on that…. I guess?
