Having gone just yesterday (13 May) to celebrate Mother’s Day, I can tell you that a 1-for-1 promotion is totally worth its weight in value (and calories).

After all, what else can you expect from an assortment of treats like brownies, ice-cream, waffles, cakes and honest to goodness chocolate fondue?

Craving for ice-cream? Choose from a huge selection of ice-cream flavours including Hazelnut, Salted Gula Melaka, Cookies & Cream and of course their signature Sticky Chewy Chocolate.

Durian lovers will be appeased to know that there’s a Durian-flavoured ice-cream too.

If you’re the cake kind of person, worry not for Swensen’s has got more than 6 flavours for you to opt from too!

Having gone through the rounds yesterday, I managed to try every single slice save for Oreo Cheesecake.

I didn’t quite like the cheesecakes though, because the cake (?) felt like a literal lump in my mouth. It was so bad I had to actually pair it with ice-cream, and seriously who does that?

The rest, however, are more than fine. I especially liked the Chocobanana, a fusion of chocolate and you guessed it, banana.

Also, if you like small treats, you won’t be disappointed. The brownies were small but flavourful, the waffles fluffy and springy. When paired with ice-cream, suffice it to say that I attained the level of Foodgasm.

There’s also a sundae corner, where you can make your own sundae complete with toppings. I didn’t try that, however, as I got too bloated from the damn cheesecakes. Dammit.
