Even if you have petty quarrels now and then, it doesn’t mean that you are not in the right relationship. What defines a right relationship then? Actually, there are no true definitions to this, but you can look for signs that indicate that you are having a healthy and strong relationship with your partner. Check out the signs below to see if you meet the list of criteria!

You make effort to spend time with each other.
Time is possibly the most precious gift you can give each other. If you find yourself wanting to spending time with your partner and vice versa, it shows that you cherish each other.

You share your PINS/passwords.
This is a first world sign, but nevertheless, still a very good indicator of the strength and trust you have. After all, not even your BFF would have all of these right? It shows that you are confident that the relationship will last.

You are honest with each other.
You know that you can always rely on him to honestly answer your burning questions, with the exception of the question “Do I look fat?” Just kidding. But honestly (pun intended), honesty is the best policy in every relationship.

You support each other.
Giving advice and opinions is one thing, but support is another thing. Even though you may not agree with every single thing the other person does, you know that the least you could do is to support each other.

You consider each other before making major decisions.
If you are going away for a long time, you think of how to keep in contact. If you are faced with a promotion at work that requires you to spend a lot more time in the office, the first thing you think of would be the other person’s schedule.

You don’t use your phones all the time when you are together.
Paying attention to each other personally is the most precious usage of the time together. If you or your partner is always staring at the phone screen, you may be experiencing communication problems.

You trust each other.
You don’t have to question each other about reaching home late or late message replies. You trust that your partner will take the initiative to let you know.

You look forward to every date.
You don’t cancel or bail just the date before. This is because you can’t wait to spend more time with each other, and it also proves that both of you are committed to making the relationship work.

You talk about everything under the sun.
You’re so comfortable with each other that you don’t mind sharing your deepest secrets, or even talk about normal bodily functions.

You make plans for the future.
This shows that you are ready to be committed for life.
