There is nothing better than indulging in delicious food every now and then. However, there are some people who love food much more than others. These are the ones who would go an extra mile just to buy a certain food, queue up for an hour just for a plate of famous chicken rice, and they are willing to spend any amount for the sole purpose of eating great food.

These awesome people are known as foodies and I’m not ashamed to admit that I too, am one. Well, food is life and we live for food. Here’s a list of 10 sinful thoughts that you’ll definitely be able to relate if you’re a foodie.

Never say no to desserts.
Even if your stomach is this close to bursting and that tight bandage skirt is doing you more harm than good, you’ll never end a dinner without grabbing some desserts.

Your only motivation to workout is by thinking of the food you get to eat after.
Let’s be real, given the amount of food that we eat, exercising is an essential part of our lifestyles. We may not necessarily want to exercise but we know that if we don’t, we’re just going to get bigger and bigger around the belly. Well, we have this awfully nifty trick to get our lazy asses moving: thinking of all the food we get to eat later.

You can’t bear to let any food go to waste
The inner foodie in you just have to finish everything on the plate and sometimes, you overeat and suffer a bloated stomach. Also, you’re ever so ready to finish your friend’s food in the event she gets full and toss her food aside.

You solve all your problems with food.
When you’re sad, you turn to food. When you’re overjoyed about getting a new job, you celebrate with food. Even on days where nothing particular special happened, you’ll boost your mood with some food. Basically, it all boils down to food.

Whenever you walk past something that smells so heavenly, you can’t help but stop walking.
You always try to walk away (keyword: try), but you can never find it within yourself to do so. You find yourself glancing longingly at the store and whether you like it or not, your legs will carry you in. You’ll end up walking out of the store holding your a bag of food in your hands.

You ALWAYS spread way too much nutella.
I’m a huge-huge-huge nutella fan and whenever I spread nutella onto my bread, I’m pretty sure I spread more than 3 breads worth of nutella just for one bread. Hey, the more the merrier, right?

You’re always the first in line whenever a new café opens up in town.
The early bird catches the worm, they say. Being a foodie, you’re always open to trying new food and places. And to you, going to different cafes and trying what they have to offer is your favourite activity.

That said, you spend 90% of your money on food.
But given any other choice, you would still do the same. Even if you’re left with $20 in your bank, you’ll spend it all on food.

You are constantly browsing through food blogs and Instagram, on the hunt for some awesome #foodporn.
While your Instagram feed may most probably be filled with gorgeous photos of food, that’s not enough. You love clicking on the explore page and searching for the latest ‘it’ thing to try. Not to mention reading food reviews on various food blogs and if anything catches your eyes, you’re immediately off on your next food trip!

While most people only have 3 meals per day, you have 6.
Well, for us foodies, you’ve got to factor in snack time, break time and tea-time.
