1,670 COVID-19 Cases Reported on 21 Nov With 8 Deaths

A lot of things have been dropping in recent days:

  • our daily caseload
  • our ICU utilisation rate
  • our fists which we have been shaking in frustration since 27 Sep

We’ve been expecting case numbers to breach 5,000 for a second time, but the number of new cases has declined instead, falling before 2,000.

And yesterday, it decreased once again.

1,670 New COVID-19 Cases

1,670 new COVID-19 cases were reported yesterday (21 Nov), a decrease of 261 from the previous day’s tally. This is our lowest case count since the tightened restrictions kicked in on 27 Sep.

The cases comprise 1,577 infections in the community, 80 in migrant worker dormitories, and 13 imported infections.

Among the local cases are 273 seniors above 60.

6 COVID-19 Fatalities

Sadly, six more COVID-19 cases succumbed to the disease.

Aged between 63 and 95, all of them had various underlying medical conditions.

This brings our death toll to 662.
