It’s generally understood by the masses that walking around on the streets holding a weapon is a no-no.
Besides the unapproving glances you’d probably get or the sordid look of fear you’ll induce in strangers, bringing a weapon out is generally just morally wrong.
Unless you were planning to cut up some fruits you put in your bag for lunch or something.
But if you’re bringing it out to wave it around during a drunken brawl in the middle of Tanjong Pagar road, then watch out:
Gahmen gonna find you.
23YO Man Wielding Weapon In Tanjong Pagar Road Fight Arrested & May Face Life Imprisonment
Around 10 people were involved in a drunken brawl along Tanjong Pagar Road at around 3.30am on 18 October 2019.
One of them was allegedly in possession of a knife. Another person was spotted bleeding from his ear.
Here’s the video:
Funnily, they all happened to be wearing either white or black. Thus, we resorted to calling them team white and team black.
One thing the police are especially unhappy about is the fact that a member of team white can be seen holding a shiny looking weapon.
It presumably looks like a knife and he proceeds to take random swings at people with it.

Man With Weapon Arrested
The police confirmed yesterday in a news release that a 23-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly voluntarily causing grievous hurt using a dangerous weapon.
Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department and the Central Police Division identified one of the suspects. He has since been arrested on 24 October.
He will be charged today (25 October). If convicted, the 23-year-old man may face life imprisonment or an imprisonment term of up to 15 years, and could be subjected to a fine or caning, or a combination of these punishments.
As of now, investigations are still underway.
Nightclub Cashier Said Knife Was Made Of Plastic
A 52-year-old nightclub cashier who spoke to Shin Min reporters said there were rumours that someone was holding a knife and stated that it was only a plastic knife.
My first thought: that looks way too shiny to be a plastic knife.
My second thought: did he keep the knife after eating McDonald’s pancakes for breakfast?
What do you think? Is it a plastic knife?
