3YO Indian Boy Trips & Falls Into Massive Pot Of Boiling Curry; Dies From Severe Burns

Kids are playful by nature. They are known to learn through playing and exploring new things.

This means that they tend to stumble upon new places or objects without even knowing the dangers of it.

Many times, kids end up suffering from injuries or even worse, death due to their innocent “adventures”. It is saddening to say, but reports said that such incidents happen often.

The Negligence

One of such incidents happened in Cyberabad, India. A three-year-old boy died after sustaining severe burns to his body when he fell into a boiling pot of curry.

The young boy, who is allegedly named as Suresh, was left to play on his own by his father near a food preparation area at an event.

This is already a sign of negligence on his father’s part. It is known that a food preparation area is a dangerous place for a kid to be in, much less alone. It has knives, open flames, and pots filled with hot surfaces everywhere.

Anything could happen to a child if not supervised.

Furthermore, it was said that there is a cauldron of sambar, a spicy vegetable curry stew that was being prepared in a very large pot.

Unfortunately, Suresh stumbled right into it. He tripped and fell into the massive pot and was burned severely by the boiling contents of the curry.

After he was rescued out, he was rushed to two different hospitals in hopes to save him. However, he succumbed to his injuries and could not take withstand the severe burns to his body.

We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Suresh’s family.

Safety Comes First

It is disheartening to see that such incidents are not uncommon in India. There are previous instances of young children falling into giant pots of curry, suffering burns just like the case of Suresh.

Therefore, we hope that this serves as a reminder to always keep a lookout for your child. Especially whenever they are exploring a new environment, it is important to take a look at their surroundings first. Never let them wander around dangerous situations such as in a food preparation area.

After all, a child is as innocent as a lamb, their safety is dependent on you.
