Everyone knows the four Heavenly Kings: Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Leon Lai and Aaron Kwok.
Rumours say that the stars are going to reunite on stage for the first time in 15 years for the 25th anniversary celebrations.
Unconfirmed List of Performers Circulating on Weibo
On the Chinese social media app Weibo, an unconfirmed list of performers and hosts of the 25th anniversary gala event has been circulating.
Amongst the list of performers, the names of the four Heavenly Kings caught the eyes of netizens. If they are truly reuniting on 30 June’s celebrations, it would be the first time in 15 years that they’re performing together.
The last time all four of them performed together was at the 10th anniversary concert, back in 2007. You can understand the excitement of the Chinese fans, especially since these stars were super popular back in the 90s and 2000s.
In fact, Andy Lau had once said that he dreams of bringing the four Kings back together, back in 2019.
