Who doesn’t love a good ol’ thrift shop? This place is run by the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO), and has everything from designer dresses to books to kitchen utensils.

You should visit the New2U Thrift shop on Tuesdays – they have some great bargains such as ½ price student discounts! If you’re lucky, you can even get good quality preloved clothes here at ONE DOLLAR. That’s right. One dollar.

All items at the thrift shop have been donated by visitors, and you can do likewise by dropping clean, preloved clothing at the SCWO Centre between 9am and 10pm daily.

Proceeds go towards the Star Shelter (a temporary shelter for women and children who are victims of violence) and other SCWO initiatives.
