Second Singaporean Case Of Wuhan Virus Confirmed
Two days ago, it was revealed that the first Singaporean to be infected with the Wuhan virus is 1 of the 92 Singaporeans who were evacuated from Wuhan.
Yesterday, it was confirmed that another lady aboard the plane has been infected as well.
With another Chinese national being confirmed too, the total number of confirmed cases in Singapore now stands at 18.

MOH Debunks WhatsApp Message About a List Of Places with Wuhan Virus Cases
A message that purports to list down the places that confirmed and suspected Wuhan virus cases have been to has been circulating in WhatsApp and Telegram. It also advises people to avoid those places.
MOH has come out to claim that the information is false, saying that there “is no need to avoid places where persons with suspected or confirmed cases of the Wuhan Coronavirus have been. The risk of infection from transient contact, such as in public places, is low. There is also currently no evidence of community spread.”

1st Day of Mask Collection is “Smooth”
The 1.37 million households in Singapore started to collect their surgical masks yesterday, and the process has been smooth.

11,791 Confirmed Wuhan Virus Cases With 259 Deaths Since Yesterday
As of yesterday, the number of Wuhan virus infections stands at 11,791, as a whopping 2,101 new cases were registered. This is the first time that the daily new cases has been over 2,000, and the number is rising every single day.
The death toll stands at 259, in which 46 new fatalities were registered.

24-Year-Old Man Arrested for Alleged Outrage of Modesty in a Shuttle Bus
Yesterday, the police said that a man had molested a 30-year-old woman on a shuttle bus from Harbourfront bus interchange on 24 January 2020.
Officers had used CCTVs and to identify the man and arrested him on Friday. Police investigations are ongoing.
