A text purporting that Unity outlets would only stock up on masks on certain timings has been debunked by NTUC FairPrice, which says it’s not true. So if you intend to buy a box of surgical masks, just head down to any outlet at any time…if they’ve got stock, that is.

Taiwan, Japan & Germany Reported First Domestic Wuhan Virus Transmission

The good news is that here in Singapore, there has been no domestic infections (i.e. people who’ve not been to China being infected).

However, that might be possible given that Taiwan, Japan and Germany have just reported their first domestic infections.

3 More Wuhan Virus Cases Announced Yesterday

Yesterday, MOH announced three more Wuhan virus confirmed cases.

They comprise a married couple who had landed in Singapore on 19 January 2020 and a 56-year-old man who arrived in Singapore on 20 January 2020.

All of them are Chinese nationals from Wuhan and they are now in stable condition.

Go-Jek Suspends 120 Drivers Who Tried to Cheat

120 tried to use a modified Go-Jek app to cheat, and they’ve since been suspended by Go-Jek. The modified app promises to help them bypass verification, fake their location, and cancel jobs without any penalty.

They had paid $300 for the app, but it turns out that it doesn’t even work. Yeah, people who tried to cheat were cheated and also lost their job.

Pre-Schools Implementing Extra Measures to Battle Wuhan Virus

Pre-schools all over Singapore have started to implement more measures to protect the children under their care.

Other than the usual measures, EtonHouse International Education Group, which runs two pre-schools, creates a coronavirus portal to ensure documents like live data of the travel declaration responses can be viewed by staff.

My First Skool, which has 140 centres in Singapore, has ramped up cleaning their centres and increased the frequency of temperature taking to safeguard students and staff.
