The recommendations were made by the Active Mobility Advisory Panel, which includes compulsory theory test for all e-scooter users before they can ride on cycling paths.

The announcement that Sasa was closing down all of its 22 stores in Singapore and moving out has shocked both its staff and customers.

The Straits Times interviewed staff on Tuesday to find out that they only got to know about Sasa’s big move when everyone else did. Sasa’s management have yet to inform them on whether they will be out of a job either.

Fake Bitcoin Website Is Up Again; Quotes MAS Chairman Tharman

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced that there is a fake website that makes use of made-up quotes from MAS chairman Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

A similar issue previously happened to Temasek chief executive Ho Ching. The fake page pretends to be a news page from a local media organisation and tricks people into paying for bitcoin trading scheme.

SIA Plane Damaged After Tail Was Hit While Landing At Yangon Airport

A Singapore Airlines (SIA) plane had to be repaired after it was damaged because of a “suspected tail strike” in Myanmar last Monday.

An SIA spokesperson divulged that the flight SQ998 from Singapore was landing in Yangon International Airport when the incident occurred.

Workgroup Suggests That Frivolous Complains To Singapore Medical Council Should Come With A Price

A workgroup has proposed in a report that anyone who lodges frivolous complaints to the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) will be asked to fork out money for costs “reasonably incurred” in the proceedings.
