S’pore Teacher Found Guilty Of Sexually Harassing 7 14YO Male Students

Over the time period of two years from 2015 to 2017, a 37-year-old Singaporean secondary school teacher of a co-curricular activity (CCA) made use of his position to sexually harass seven of his male students.

He would usually slide his hands into the shorts of the students and touch their genitalia before letting go and telling them “play play only, don’t tell any teacher”.

He has been charged with three charges so far and will face trial for another six on 17 December.

HSA Recalls 3 Versions Of Diabetic Medicine

Three versions of diabetic medicine are being recalled because they have been found to have contained unsafe levels of a certain impurity that may cause cancer.

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) tested all 46 versions and found that only 43 were not affected.

The recalled drugs are one batch of Glucient XR Tablet 500mg, all batches of Meijumet Prolonged Release Tablet in 750mg, and 1,000mg versions. The medication is supposedly used to control the high blood sugar levels in diabetic patients.

Aussie Linked To Fatal Condo Killer Litter Incident Faces Additional Charge

47-year-old Andrew Gosling now faces an additional charge for causing hurt to another woman in the same incident. The new offence is said to be ‘religiously aggravated’.

He had allegedly thrown a glass wine bottle from the lift landing on the seventh floor of the Spottiswoode 18 condominium towards a table near the barbecue pit on the fifth floor. The bottle hit 35-year-old Ms Manisah on the right shoulder, causing bruises, before hitting 73-year-old Mr Nasiari on his head, causing his death.

5 Men Arrested After Geylang Fight With Plastic Chairs

The five men who were aged between 21 and 47 were arrested under the suspicion of affray after they fought outside a restaurant in Geylang.

It was reported that they had a dispute earlier on that night at the restaurant and it later turned physical when they started charging at one another with plastic chairs in their hands.

If convicted of committing affray, one can be jailed for up to a year and fined a maximum of $5,000.

‘Chao Ni Ma’ Trans-Cab Driver Charged With Criminal Intimidation & Causing Hurt

42-year-old Feng Zhenning was charged with criminal intimidation and voluntarily causing hurt. He was involved in a dispute with his passengers near the Far East Plaza taxi stand on 24 November at 10pm.

A video was uploaded of him hurling vulgarities at the couple and the woman seemed to even be carrying a baby. He was said to have swung a pair of pliers at the couple and even pushing the lady, causing her to fall backwards and suffer abrasions to her palms.

In a separate occasion, he was filmed kicking and punching another driver’s car.
