Whenever I walk by and see someone’s undies hanging and drying out in the open my first thought isn’t, “hey, let’s steal that”.

But for this professor, it certainly was.

The 56-year-old professor who teaches at Keio University thought it would be a great idea to steal a pair of panties and bra that he saw hanging outside a residence.

The professor saw them hanging outside someone’s first-floor balcony on 17 November 2019.

Husband Saves Wife’s Panties From Perv Professor

The owner of said panties and bra’s husband saw the professor while he was committing the act and shouted, “thief”.

He then took off and ran along the Ichikawa City street before the police caught him. He didn’t manage to get very far, and was apprehended a couple of hundred metres away from the house.

Whoops.

The total damage? He tried to steal around $5 worth of panty and bra and got $1 million dollars in terms of embarrassment instead.

He immediately confessed to his crimes, “There is no question, I stole the underwear.”

The Professor

The professor in question works at the Department of Applied Physics and Physico-Informatics at Keio University. Keio University itself is one of the oldest private universities in Japan, so you know it’s prestigious.

According to World Of Buzz, he is also the founder of Shiratori Nanotechnology.

Keio University also issued a statement regarding this incident, “It is very regrettable that one of our faculty members was arrested. We are currently confirming the facts and will take strict measures.”

Well, that’s that. Better check his GPA first.
