In Singapore, most of us travel via the MRT during our morning and evening commutes everyday. Apart from angry aunties, tired NS men and the internal fight by yourself on whether you should give up your seat because you aren’t sure if the lady is just chubby or pregnant, there are times where some commuters would just make you squirm your face and go “huh?’ or keep you from trying to LOL.
Here are 10 weirdest things Singaporeans encounter in our travel on board the MRT.
1. The two umbrella ladies
Apparently, Singapore’s sun too hot already, need take out umbrella and get the extra shade.
2. The woman who coloured her hair halfway
Perhaps she highlighted her hair halfway then realise gonna late for work already. Might as well use the time travelling to let the hair absorb the dye right? So don’t remove the aluminium foils lor.
3. Ahma sitting on the floor
If you think that the Ahma is weird, you’re weird. The weirdest thing in the picture gotta be the people around who didn’t care to give up their seat for the pitiful Ahma. Super no heart lor, you still can happily travel while looking at the Ahma sitting on the carton box?
4. Two guys discussing knives on the train
You probably notice a ring of empty seats beside the both of them as they pass the knife back and forth. You’ll slowly wonder whether they are plotting a murder or just looking for a knife sharp enough for their groceries.
5. Skimpy attire man
Dressed in a tight tank top, black undies and knee-high gladiator boots, you’ll be wondering if he’s going for the boho, agogo-inspired or simply too lazy to put on pants look.
6. Using a guy as a pole to pole dance
Too excited for pole dance lessons or maybe she loves her boyfriend too much, she had to cling onto him like a koala bear, right in the middle of a train cabin.
