Until you see who has had relationships with massive age gaps:
French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife are 25 years apart (President Trump’s age difference with his wife is almost the same, at 24 years), and the power Clooney couple being 17 years apart.
As long as one party is not a minor and able to consent, usually there is nothing wrong, except some wagging tounges.
What about a 40 plus year age gap?
Accidental Love
In Java, Indonesia, two people went to collect water for their homes in the forest.
One was a 70-year-old man, and the other was a 28-year-old woman.
It probably seemed like a normal everyday occurrence for both of them. Nothing strange was going to happen… right?
Wrong. Unbeknownst to them, they were going to meet their soul mates.. while collecting water. In the forest.
They soon became friends, and the elderly man often visited the woman at her home. After getting very close for four months, they decided to get married.
Well, that escalated pretty quickly.
I know, I know, you are shocked. Probably thinking that the elderly man paid a massive dowry to ‘buy’ a wife for himself?
That was not what happened though. In fact, the dowry paid by the man to the woman’s family turned out to only be 50000 rupiah, which is less than 5 Singaporean dollars.
The woman said that despite the age difference, she was not ashamed.
In fact, she said that she was happy to find a person who has experience in raising a family and caring for children.
Their age gap might raise some eyebrows, but in the end, just look at how happy they look together.
We truly hope that they will have a blissful marriage and a lifetime of happiness.
