When people think of the elderly, what usually comes to mind are frail bodies and tons of illnesses that come with age.
But one man is about to break all those stereotypes.
Does Perfect Split & Back Bridge
At the ripe old age of 71 years, Su Ming Fu proves that age is no excuse to avoid exercise.
The Ang Mo Kio resident is able to do a perfect split against the wall and a back bridge, according to Shin Min Daily News.
That definitely puts many to shame as he appears to be more flexible than even some youths.
Lost Eight Kilograms in Six Months
Su admitted that he was more flexible than others since young. But it was only after retiring at 52 years old that he started doing flexibility training, Su said.
He had wanted to lose some belly fats and managed to lose eight kilograms within half a year.
But his exercise journey did not just stop after shaving off the unhealthy weight. Su made it a daily affair to exercise for two hours, with his routine including leg stretches and doing back bridge.
If that hasn’t already made your jaw drop, this will.
20 years on, Su can execute some challenging moves like a split and a high kick with ease.

Popular in Ang Mo Kio
He usually carries out his exercises at the void deck or market and utilises whatever items are nearby as equipment to assist himself while exercising.
Of course, such a sight is one to stop and stare at. Su is no stranger to this as many people who pass by him will often take videos of him exercising, making him a popular figure in the estate.
However, Su, a humble man, said that he does not think he is exceptional. He maintains that he is just doing what he likes and was able to persist for 20 years.
No doubt, Su has proven that health really is wealth.
