8 withdrawal symptoms you’ll have once Descendants of the Sun is over

Warning: If you haven’t caught up on the last episode of Descendants of the Sun, read this later to avoid spoilers!

The hottest Korean drama of 2016 has finally ended. No more 2-Songs and no more admiring cute (and topless) soldiers go on their daily run. We are definitely super sad about the short 16 episodes, so sad that we are all suffering from the withdrawal symptoms.

*Salute*
Whenever we see a soldier, be it on TV or in real life, we want to salute them, and in Korean, no less.
“Tam kieu.” *Salutes*

Missing the slick moves of Captain Yoo.
We need Captain Yoo, or Squadron Leader Yoo, to give us more tips on how to be a sweet boyfriend. Singaporean guys definitely can learn a thing or two.

Every white stone we see has a special meaning.
Okay, so if I steal this white stone from the potted plant, it means that I will come back to this place right? I mean, it’s just my own house, but I will definitely come back right?

We are dying to go to “Urk”.
Okay, it’s a fictional place but still. We really want to visit it, and we can definitely go! The show was filmed in Greece (Zakynthos, Arachova and Lemnos)!

We need more of Sergeant Major Seo’s dancing.
This GIF explains it all.

Any drama without product placements just looks suspicious.
The staggering number of product placements in DOTS was definitely not the highlight of the drama. However, it has resulted in us suspecting that every single prop on any drama we watch is a product placement.

We half-expect Big Boss to pick up whenever we call using our phones.
We expect some static to buzz and then, “Big Boss tongshin”. We refuse to believe that he/the drama is dead.

Wednesdays and Thursdays have no meaning now.
The only thing we used to look forward to was DOTS. Now, the meaning in life has ceased to exist along with the drama.
