It’s never easy to know that the life of someone you love and care so deeply for is ending.

It will always be painful when they pass, and you’ll always wish that you’ll have the chance to spend another day with them, just so that you could make more memories with them.

Many of those who are about to pass may have some wishes that they hope their family will fulfil.

And of course, as family members who want nothing but for them to be the happiest before they leave, they will try their best to fulfil these wishes.

A man by the name of Adam Schemm tweeted on Twitter saying that his 87-year-old grandfather’s last wish was to have a beer with all his three sons one last time to celebrate a well-lived life, and of course, they all gave him that.

A Beautiful Farewell

The tweet included a photograph of their farewell toast and it went viral immediately, with many netizens from all over the world coming together to offer their condolences.

It is heartwarming to know that the sons gathered by their father’s deathbed and had one last drink with him, and we know that their father definitely appreciated that beautiful farewell.

The Backstory

Schemm’s grandfather was reportedly quite healthy for most of his life before he developed stage four colon cancer.

According to Yahoo News, Grandpa Schemm called his immediate family to a small gathering when he knew that the end for him was near.

He asked for one last beer with his boys, and they all brought it and visited him in the hospital, where they shared an emotional farewell.

Adam captured the sweet moment and that moment is immortalised into a memory that will last forever.

We send our deepest condolences to Mr Schemm and his family and hope that they can get past this trying time.
