Han So-hee Wears Singapore Brand Charles & Keith in Korean Remake of Hollywood Film The Intern

South Korean actress Han So-hee is wearing Singapore fashion label Charles & Keith in the Korean remake of Hollywood film The Intern.

The film, titled The Intern, opened in South Korea on 16 September 2026. It stars Han as Sun-woo, a young chief executive of a fashion start-up, while veteran actor Choi Min-sik plays Ki-ho, a retired worker who joins her company as a senior intern.

The Korean version adapts the 2015 Hollywood film, which starred Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro, by placing the workplace story in a Korean setting and exploring differences between generations at work.

Han So-hee’s Character Wears Five Charles & Keith Pieces

In the movie, Han wears five pieces from Charles & Keith, including the Loren Textured Platform Sandals, Gael Studded Convertible Kitten-Heel Knee-High Boots, Buckle-Strap Slouchy Tote Bag, Axel Faux Sueded Bowling Bag and Kerry Top Handle Satchel Bag.

The Loren Textured Platform Sandals are listed at S$65.90, while the other four pieces are not available for purchase at the time of reporting, according to The Straits Times.

The collaboration continues Han’s relationship with the Singapore-based label. Charles & Keith named her its global brand ambassador in 2023, and she previously appeared in the brand’s L’initial campaign in 2024.

Film Reimagines Hollywood Story For Korean Audience

The original The Intern followed the relationship between a young fashion company founder and a much older intern who joins her business.

In the Korean remake, Han plays Sun-woo, a successful fashion entrepreneur whose company has grown rapidly, while Choi plays Ki-ho, a veteran worker starting a second career.

Director Kim Do-young said the remake aims to reflect modern Korean workplace culture while keeping the story about relationships between people of different generations.

Han previously said she drew inspiration from friends working in offices and start-ups when developing her character as a young CEO balancing work responsibilities and personal ambitions.
