South Korean actors Ha Jung-woo and Cha Jung-won are getting married on 13 December 2026, with a private ceremony planned in Seoul.
Ha’s agency, Walkhouse Company, confirmed the wedding date on 14 October, Korea Joongang Daily reported. Cha’s agency, Saram Entertainment, also confirmed that the couple would be getting married.
An agency representative told Xportsnews, in a report carried by The Korea Times, that the ceremony would take place at an undisclosed location in Seoul.
They Met In 2020 And Confirmed Their Relationship In February
The wedding announcement follows a relationship that largely stayed away from the spotlight.
According to The Korea Times, Ha and Cha first met in 2020, initially getting to know each other as colleagues in the entertainment industry before becoming a couple.
They publicly confirmed their relationship in February 2026 after reports emerged that they were dating. Since then, both have spoken about the support they receive from each other.
At a press event for his tvN drama Mad Concrete Dreams, Ha described Cha as someone who consistently showed him affection and encouragement.
“[Cha] has always given me steady love and support,” he said, in remarks reported by Korea Joongang Daily.
Cha shared a similar glimpse into their relationship while promoting tvN’s fashion competition programme Kill It. She said Ha had watched its first episode and was following the show while encouraging her.
Careers Across Film, Television And Fashion
Ha’s screen credits include The Chaser, Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time and The Terror Live.
He has also worked behind the camera, directing films including Fasten Your Seatbelt, Chronicle of a Blood Merchant and Lobby.
Cha began her acting career in the 2012 film Horror Stories. Her television work includes She Was Pretty, Special Labor Inspector and My Absolute Boyfriend, while her activities beyond acting extend into beauty and fashion.
With their relationship already public, the couple have now confirmed the next milestone: a December wedding, with the ceremony itself kept private.
