Seems like everyone is coming to Singapore to have a concert.
Recently it was announced that Olivia Rodrigo is coming in October, and so is legend Andy Lau.
But that’s well ahead. In July, Taiwanese pop diva A-mei is set to come to Singapore as part of her ASMeiR Max 2024 World Tour.
Here’s everything you need to know.
Taiwanese Star and Pop Queen A-mei
In case you’re unfamiliar, A-mei (real name Kulilay Amit), now 51 years old (can you believe that?), is a singer and record producer born in Eastern Taiwan. She debuted in 1996 and had been carrying the Mandopop music industry on her back since the mid-1990s.
She has been a proud advocate for gender equality and LGBTQ rights with her edgy look and unique sound.
Honoured as the “Queen of Mandopop”, she has been selling out concert tours with hit albums Sisters and Bad Boy amassing at least a million sales in Taiwan.

ASMeiR Max 2024 – Singapore Her Only Stop In Southeast Asia
The ASMeiR Max 2024 World Tour is organised by IMC Live Global and it is A-mei’s tenth large-scale solo concert tour.
The tour is unique for its fancy hardware equipment that can produce cool performance effects.
Like Taylor Swift, A-mei is only stopping by Singapore to cover the Southeast Asia part of her world tour. But unlike her, A-mei is only performing for one night.
Yes, that means you’ll have to compete for tickets with Malaysian and Indonesian fans too.
She is set to perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 27 July 2024.
