You want to remove your belly fat, no matter whether you’re a girl or guy. I mean, who doesn’t want that?

But out of everyone who wants to look trim and fit (read: those who hasn’t given up), maybe 20% of you will work for it. The other 80% is typically NATO, no-action-talk-only. #TheTruthHurts

I’ve got no time. I just don’t have the energy. I’m just lazy.

But what if there’s a way to remove belly fat easily with some dedication on your part?

Check out what I’ve found when browsing the web.

A Simple Japanese Technique That Removes Belly Fat Quickly and Safely

This method was used by a Japanese actor, Miki Ryosuke, who accidentally discovered the technique according to Bright Side.

He was practising a back pain relief exercise prescribed by his doctor, to be done for two minutes a day.

He noticed the unintended side effect when he realised he lost 13kg and 12cm from his waistline after a few weeks of doing it.

Here’s what he did:

  1. First, you adopt the position. Stand up straight with one leg forward and the other back.
  2. Strain your butt and rest your body weight on the back foot.
  3. Now, lift your arms above your head and inhale for 3 seconds.
  4. Finally, breathe out hard for 7 seconds. Make sure you strain your entire body’s muscles.

Do this for 2-10 minutes daily.

This method will also strengthen your core muscles and increase your metabolism, which helps greatly in weight loss. Especially around the middle.

And, of course, it helps to relieve back aches.

The Science Behind the Method

Okay, this sounds very fantasy-like. I’d admit that at first, I didn’t think it’ll work. I mean, we’re all used to the concept of hard work for great results. So this sounds too good to be true.

Until I did a bit of digging.

It was found that fats in the body consist of Oxygen, Hydrogen and Carbon. When oxygen reaches these fat cells, they will be broken down into carbon (C) and water (H20).

In a study published by the British Medical Journal back in 2014, it was stated that when fats are burnt (or oxidised in science terms), 80% of it leave your body as CO2 and 20% as water.

This means, the more oxygen you take in, the more fats you burn.

So why not try this low-impact, allegedly highly effective technique for yourself? This is perfect for folks out there who can’t do high-impact exercises like running for various reasons.

Like me, who’s too fat to run without injuring my knees so I’m going to do it.

Who knows, I might just shamelessly upload a progression video just for the heck of it. If it works, that is.
