Woman Arrested for Allegedly Murdering 51YO Man in AMK HDB

According to the police on Thursday (15 July), a 39-year-old woman has been arrested for her suspected involvement in the murder of a 51-year-old man.

The police said that they were alerted to an incident of dispute on Thursday at around 12.55am at a residential unit located along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3. 

When the police arrived at the scene, officers found a man and a woman with multiple wounds outside the residential unit. 

The man and woman were both conscious when they were being sent to the hospital.

The man then passed away from his injuries in hospital. 

According to the police, preliminary investigations have shown that the man and woman knew each other. 

The woman is currently warded at a hospital for medical treatment and she will be charged in court this Friday (16 July) with murder. 

Man Arrested for Stabbing 46Y/O Man to Death in Punggol

In another recent case of murder that occurred on 13 July, the police were informed of a stabbing case at a residential unit at Sumang Walk in Punggol.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a man with multiple wounds lying unconscious outside the unit. 

The man, who was 46 years of age, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The sixth floor of the block was cordoned off by police and some 10 police officers were seen in and around the unit. 

Other police officers were deployed at the lift landing.

Food delivery riders who made trips to the location were not allowed access to the units within the cordoned off section of the block.

Police officers had to deliver the food to the residents in their stead. 

A 43-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly murdering the victim. Investigations have revealed that both men are known to each other. 

A resident from the second floor reported hearing loud banging and shouting from the unit earlier in the afternoon.

Subsequently, she saw a man in handcuffs being escorted away by officers. 

The man will be charged in court tomorrow (16 July) with murder.
