If you’re a reasonable human being, you’ll know that cats are awesome.

At least, that’s what most of the people in the Goody Feed office likes to think.

Now, personally, I don’t subscribe to this groupthink (but don’t let my boss hear that).

GoodyFatBoss: I heard that.

But today, I learnt that while not all cats can make you love them, they can make you rich.

S’pore Company Earned Over $5 Million in 3 Years with a Game Franchise About Cats

This is a Singaporean game studio, Gentle Bros

And over the past 3 years, this 3-man studio manages to make over S$5.2 million in revenue based on their mobile game franchise, Cat Quest (2017) and Cat Quest II (2019).

To get that amount, they managed to get over 1.3 million paid downloads and had the games listed on the top charts in the US, Japan and Europe.

Cat Quest is also an award-winning game, having won the Excellence in Visual Art and Design award in the second SEA International Mobile Game Awards back in 2017.

Now, if you’re one of the many who contributed to their success, they have an exciting update in-store for you (geddit?).

They’ll be releasing a free update to Cat Quest II called The Mew World.

And it’s not just an update, it will also reportedly transform the way the game is usually played drastically.

They also have exciting maps, new skills and much more fun stuff waiting to be explored.

By the way, when we said mobile game, we were kind of understating it.

Their Cat Quest franchise is currently available on:

  • Apple Arcade
  • iOS
  • Android
  • PC
  • PS4
  • Switch
  • Xbox One

You can find out more details about the game here.

Maybe this’ll be something good for you to waste the hours away with since we can’t go out much nowadays anyway.

But one thing for sure, though, if you have an unhealthy level of interest in games and your parents are busy trying to get you back on the “proper path”, you might just want to show them this article and say, every path has a success story.

Just make sure gaming is what you want to do for life because as many people have learnt the hard way, turning a hobby into work might just make you lose that hobby…forever.

GoodyFatBoss: Is that your resignation letter?

Uh, no. I’m good. I swear.
