Claudia Kim, a South Korean actress and model, recently visited Singapore with her young daughter.
Kim, whose real name is Kim Soo-hyun, shared photos on Instagram of her and her daughter enjoying some of Singapore’s iconic sights like Marina Bay Sands and the Merlion statue.
Yes, that is so touristy.
In her post, she thanked the fans she met during the trip for their love and support, calling them “so sweet”.

You’re welcome, Dr Cho.
Claudia Kim as Dr Helen Cho in Avengers: Age of Ultron
Even if you don’t watch K-drama, you might have seen her before.
Kim was born on 25 January 1985 in South Korea and spent part of her childhood in New Jersey before returning to Korea. She made her entertainment debut in 2005 after winning a Korea-China modeling competition.
This led to her first acting role in the TV drama Queen of the Game in 2006.
Since then, Kim has appeared in numerous Korean dramas including Brain (2011), 7th Grade Civil Servant (2013), Marco Polo (2014-2016), and most recently, Gyeongseong Creature (2023) and The Atypical Family (2024).
If you don’t watch Korea drama, you might have seen her in Hollywood films.
She has also had roles in Hollywood films like Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) as Dr Helen Cho (that was where I got to know her, too!), The Dark Tower (2017), and as Nagini in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018).
Kim married Korean-American businessman Matthew Shampine in December 2019. The couple welcomed her daughter in October 2020.
