Anything would probably go well with chocolate and candy.
And then someone throws in an idea and says “what about CHOCOLATE cannabis?”
And… that’s probably how the Central Narcotics Bureau officers found chocolate and candy believed to be infused with cannabis.
Cannabis, otherwise better known as “weed”, “pot” or “marijuana” are used by most people for pleasure and recreation.
In other words, for people to get “high”.

Although a number of places have legalised weed, it remains a crime in Singapore to bring any product containing weed, regardless of the amount.
Cannabis is a Class A controlled drug listed under Singapore’s Misuse of Drugs Act.
Even though Cannabis has been used to treat ailments and to relieve pain for some people, it remains as a relatively dangerous drug. CNB emphasises that there has been little evidence of the safety and efficacy of long-term cannabis use.
Not only can it be addictive, it also damages the brain. According to CNB, the Institute of Mental Health has affirmed the addictive and harmful nature of cannabis.
