Guide to the Opening Hours of Supermarkets in S’pore During CNY 2021

After what has largely been a dire 2020, the upcoming CNY period certainly feels like a breath of fresh air – or a bite of Ferrero Rocher if that floats your boat. After all, you need no longer think (so much) about a life-threatening disease, but instead have the luxury to prepare yourself for loads of good food, dozens of ang pows, and of course, the side profiles of your favourite relatives.

But here’s the thing. Though you would love to treat your favourite relatives to just plain bread and water, the fact remains that as a prospective host, you have to fulfill certain obligations.

Including the conventional CNY goodies and relevant essentials.

And though you may consider yourself Mr/Mrs Prepared, there’s always the off chance that something slipped your mind, which naturally begets the desperate dilemma:

Where do I make up for my mistake during this busy period?

Well, if that’s your concern, we are glad to squash it flat.

Here at Goody Feed, we believe in doing good (and also earning more from advertisements), and as such have compiled a list of operating hours pertaining to your favourite supermarkets this festive season.

With this guide, your shopping itinerary can be fulfilled at any time, even fifteen minutes into your reunion dinner when you realise you’ve forgotten the BoBo Cheese fishballs.

Six outlets will also operate on a 24/7 basis:

  • Cluny Court

  • Jelita
  • Siglap Village
  • Rail Mall
  • Serangoon Nex

For the rest of the outlets, operating hours tend to vary minimally. You can check the full list here.
