Good news because there’s just 1 new case today, and she’s linked to a cluster; bad news because the number of people in ICU is now at 7.

Here’s what MOH announced today.

There is one new patient today.

And it’s not a Filipino as speculated by many today, as the Filipino, who’s now a Singapore PR, is a case that was announced two days ago.

Instead, today’s patient is a 75-year-old Singaporean who’s linked to The Life Church and Missions Singapore cluster, which now has 5 confirmed cases. The woman had first experienced her symptoms on 9 February 2020 and visited a GP. She then went back to the same GP on 17 February 2020 and yesterday, and was immediately being treated as a suspect case and sent to Tock Seng Hospital by ambulance.

She was tested positive for the virus yesterday afternoon, and is now isolated in the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).

This brings the total number of cases to 90 here in Singapore.

Updates on Confirmed Cases

As of noon today, MOH has identified 2,842 close contacts, with 856 currently quarantined and 1,986 having completed their quarantine.

Out of the 90 confirmed cases, 53 have fully recovered.
