Both WHO and researchers from Harvard have praised our COVID-19 detection method, and if you’re still not convinced, you would be after reading today’s announcement.

In one day, MOH managed to find out the source of infection from people who were previously infected from unknown sources, like Case 112 who works in a pre-school, and link her to a new cluster, and then even linking the cluster to a case, Case 94, who is linked to RI student.

I know you’re confused; just know that the authorities are doing their contact tracing so thoroughly, the last COVID-19 case might eventually be linked to the very first COVID-19 case.

Today, a new cluster is identified: it’s a private dinner in SAFRA dinner that includes 4 of the cases announced today and 4 cases announced earlier.

The first patient is an imported case: a 42-year-old French national who works in Singapore. He was overseas and came back to Singapore on 3 March 2020, and was tested positive yesterday afternoon.

The second, third, fourth and fifth patient are all linked to a private dinner function at SAFRA Jurong on 15 February 2020. They are a 42-year-old male Singaporean, a 62-year-old female Singaporean, a 50-year-old female Singaporean and a 52-year-old female Singaporean. All of them were tested positive either yesterday afternoon and this morning.
