As we celebrate the 5th day without community case, today happened.
Today (13 January 2021), as of 12pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 38 new cases of COVID-19 infection.
37 of them are imported cases, while 1 is a dorm case. There hasn’t been any dorm case since 15 December 2020.
This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 58,984.
Based on yesterday’s figures, the number of new cases in the community has decreased from 11 cases in the week before to 6 cases in the past week. The number of unlinked cases in the community has remained stable at 4 cases per week in the past 2 weeks.
223 Active Cases
There are currently 53 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and 1 is in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
170 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.
29 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
