As of 12pm today (2 Apr), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 43 new cases of COVID-19 infection.
All of them are imported cases.
This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 60,450.
Based on yesterday’s figures, the number of new cases in the community has increased from none in the week before to 3 cases in the past week. The number of unlinked cases in the community has also increased from none in the week before to 3 cases in the past week.
Infectious COVID-19 Cases Visited Gym at Ngee Ann City Over 10 Times in 2 Weeks
Several locations were added to the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) list of places visited by infectious COVID-19 patients on Thursday (1 Apr).
One of them was the Pure Fitness gym at Ngee Ann City mall along Orchard Road, which was visited 10 times over a period of two weeks.
The gym had been visited by infectious COVID-19 cases at the following times:
- 18 March between 1.30pm and 2.45pm
- 19 March between 9pm and 10.15pm
- 20 March between 4.30pm and 5.45pm
- 22 to 23 March between 9pm and 12am
- 23 March between 6pm and 7.15pm
- 24 March between 1.30pm and 2.45pm
- 25 March between 9pm and 10.15pm
- 26 March between 7.30pm and 8.45pm
- 28 March between 8pm and 10pm
- 29 March between 9am and 10.15am
Some eateries in shopping malls were also added to MOH’s list, including Sushi Teh at Raffles City Shopping Centre and Akashi restaurant at Paragon mall.
These locations were visited at the following times:
- Akashi restaurant at Paragon mall on 20 March between 7.10pm and 8.30pm, 23 March between 8.10pm and 9.15pm, 26 March between 9.10pm and 10.15pm
- Tangles at Tanglin Club along Stevens Road on 23 March between 1.45pm and 5.40pm
- Cherry Discotheque at Keck Seng Tower along Cecil Street on 27 March between 7.35pm and 10.30pm
- Chang Korean BBQ restaurant at 71 Loewen Road on 18 March between 7.35pm and 9.40pm
- Paul cafe at Ngee Ann City mall on 29 March between 10.40am and 11.25am
- Sushi Tei restaurant at Raffles City Shopping Centre on 30 March between 2.30pm and 3.25pm
- Facial Body Care at The Adelphi along Coleman Street on 30 March between 3.35pm and 5.35pm

216 Active Cases
There are currently 38 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and 1 is in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
178 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.
30 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
