Be it food, stationary, supplies, gifts, kitchenware, props, and more, there’s one Japanese store where you can get it all.
In case you were thinking of Donki instead, let me clear it up for you – almost everything there costs only $2.
That’s right, Daiso has been a local favourite for many years, and now they’re upping their game.
Daiso Launches Online Store
Daiso has just announced the launch of their new online store on Shopify, where you can now shop from the comfort of your own home.
Yes, you can now shop at Daiso while in your Zoom meeting or class.
While their selection naturally will not be as comprehensive as a physical store, it’s still very good.
With 24 categories of products to choose from, including daily necessities, electronics, healthcare, stationary, cleaning supplies, toys, and many more, you should be able to find almost everything you need.
Their catalogue includes the food storage bag…
…decoration light…
…knee supporters with padding (please get one that costs more than $2 for serious runners)…
…paper trimmers…
…balloons…
…toilet detergents…
…and so much more.
But wait, you may be noticing that something is missing.
No Food Available
That’s right. If you love Daiso for its selection of Japanese snacks and food, you will be disappointed.
Despite their wide array of categories and products, looks like I can’t get my favourite sakuma drops online.
Daiso hasn’t stated anything on this officially, so we don’t know if they’ll be added in the future.
They also do have a base delivery fee of $5 and a minimum order of five items, so those are the main cons currently.
You can check out their website here.
And in case you’re wondering, Don Don Donki does have an online store, too: one in Shopee. You might be able to shop in peace in their online store, but I bet that before you know it, that song is now playing in your mind.
