DBS Job Posting Sounds Like They Require Employees to Offer Them ‘Body Parts & Organs’

It appears that job postings are getting more and more… ‘outrageous’ in nature.

So if you recall, there were job ads that straight-up asked for attractive candidates, such as this one.

There were also job ads that were essentially just scam offers.

And then there are job ads that sound like a devil’s column, like this one:

DBS Job Posting Sounds Like They Require Employees to Offer Them ‘Body Parts & Organs’

On 29 April 2021, Reddit user flying-kai posted a screenshot of a DBS job ad on the social news website, alongside the very telling caption:

“DBS job postings sound like satanic rituals.”

After all, it’s not every day that a bank proposes prospective applicants to offer the following:

  • All of your heart
  • All of your brain
  • Both your arms
  • Both your feet

Heck, even Lucifer is less stringent with the requirements and he’s clearly the baddest guy in town.

And though DBS makes sure to explain away the questionable criteria with more specific details, their style of advert did not manage to escape the attention of sharp-eyed Netizens, who in turn shared the news on online sites.

Here, take a look at what DBS seeks in a candidate.

Somewhere, somehow, a devil’s quaking in its boots at the sheer audacity of DBS.

And Netizens Feel The Same Way

To date, the screenshot has garnered over 2.8K upvotes.

There are also 201 comments on the post at the time of writing, the bulk of which were wondering the same thing as the Reddit poster.

“They missed out on all of your soul?” one asked.

Another theorised the real actual meaning behind the acronym DBS.

“DBS: Doing Business with Satan,” they said.

One Netizen even asked: “Is someone trying to bring back their dead mom?”

And others simply wondered.

“Who the hell thought this was a good job posting and approved it?” a Netizen asked.

“Wtf. Are they recruiting for a cult?” another Netizen wrote.

As for DBS’ true intentions, I guess only they will be clear about it.

One thing’s for sure though; the job advert has certainly gained traction on the net.

So maybe in hindsight, it wasn’t your body DBS wanted…

But all your attention instead.

In which case, I think it’s safe to say that we would all be in DBS’ collection, for lack of a better phrase.
