Well, for this particular postman, his dedication to his job launched him into overnight stardom.

The epitome of a deliveryman, this one.

SingPost, you need to be reading this.

Postman Needed to Deliver a Parcel

On 23 Jan 2019, World of Buzz ran a report on this super cute postman from Pos Laju, Malaysia’s equivalent of Singapore’s SingPost.

He was supposed to deliver a parcel to a woman. The only problem? She’s a bride and going through her wedding ceremony at that time.

What would you do if you’re the postman?

Wait for the ceremony to be over or leave a note with the reception like SingPost?

(Pretty sure no one would complain if he leaves a collection note in this case)

Well, this man right here couldn’t wait for her ceremony to be over. But at the same time, he could not leave without delivering the parcel.

So he did the next best thing

He went up to her and got her to sign for her package.

Right in the middle of her ceremony.

And the newlywed couple sportingly accepted the parcel as well.

According to the bride, her husband said, “Hmm, I can now predict what my future will be like if even on our wedding day, a postman shows up to deliver your parcel.”

A wise young man therefore once said, “Nothing, absolutely nothing, comes between my girl’s Taobao and her.”

The internet reacts

With golden material like this, you can be sure that the internet’s going to react.

And some comments by netizens are really golden.

“When you want to get married but Lazada has a sale.”

“Did you ask that postman to join the kenduri feast?”

That postman’s face was hilarious. He probably thought to himself, “Am I doing the right thing? Please sign quickly!”

But one thing’s for sure, this man is the opposite of some SingPost deliverymen out there in Singapore.

If you’re wondering why we keep on dissing SingPost, here’s why.

SingPost Delivery Man Caught Not Doing His Job Properly

Back in December 2018, Andy Lau, a Singapore Facebook user instead of a Hong Kong actor, alleged that its postman had delivered a collection slip instead of a parcel after knocking for mere seconds.

Soon after, netizens shared their stories of how SingPost postmen had merely passed the delivery slips instead of sending the parcels and let’s just say that people are extremely triggered.

Plus, it was also found that SingPost “cheated” a customer by not delivering on their promises despite the customer paying for it.

In the end, SingPost had to apologise to the public after numerous negative public sentiments.
